golfing.guide is an independent golf travel guide. We recommend courses, hotels, destinations, and services based on personal experience and curated data. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, or package holiday provider.

What we don't do

• We don't take bookings or process payments
• We don't ask for your email, name, or any registration
• We don't store personal data against any identity

James — AI-assisted chat

The James chat feature uses artificial intelligence to provide golf travel guidance informed by real experience. The voice, opinions, and recommendations reflect the knowledge of a golf travel professional with decades of industry experience.

James is a guide, not a booking service. All recommendations should be verified directly with suppliers before booking. Prices shown (flights, hotels, green fees) are indicative and may change — always confirm with the provider.

Bookings

Any bookings you make are directly between you and the supplier (airline, hotel, golf course, car hire company). golfing.guide has no role in your booking transaction and accepts no liability for third-party services.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This does not influence our recommendations — we recommend the same places whether there's an affiliate link or not.

Your privacy

We take privacy seriously by collecting as little as possible:

• No registration. We never ask for your name, email address, or any personal details.
• No cookies for tracking. We use your browser's local storage to remember your browsing preferences on the site (such as which pages you've viewed) to personalise the chat experience. This data stays on your device and is never sent to any third party.
• Chat conversations are processed in real-time to generate responses. We do not permanently store your conversations against any personal identity.
• Basic analytics. We may use anonymised, aggregated data to understand how the site is used and improve the experience.
• Geo-location. We may detect your approximate country from your IP address (via Cloudflare) to personalise recommendations (e.g. suggesting nearby airports). We do not store your IP address or precise location.

Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure information is accurate and current. Course data, photos, and details are sourced from legitimate APIs and verified where possible. However, golf courses change policies, prices, and conditions regularly. Always verify details directly with the venue before travelling.

Consultation services

For personalised, in-depth trip planning beyond the free chat, James offers one-to-one consultation sessions at $50/hour. These are booked directly and are separate from the free site experience.

Acceptable use

The James chat is provided to help with golf travel queries. We reserve the right to limit access for users who:

• Use abusive, discriminatory, or offensive language
• Attempt to misuse or overload the service
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on golfing.guide is owned by golfing.guide. Course photos are sourced from Google Places and are the property of their respective owners and uploaders.
